Econ 4320/6340: Auction Theory and Practice
I co-teach this undergrad/masters course that applies theoretical and AI-assisted empirical tools to study auctions.
My sessions cover the econometrics of auctions: using simulated and real data to estimate bidder preferences and inform auction design, along with open research questions. They also teach students how to prompt AI effectively and check its answers using basic game theory.
